Biography

Porter originally hails from Longview, Texas and moved to Nashville in 1983 to attend Belmont College. While there, he started his touring career doing overseas tours for the Department of Defense, which is where he met his wife Angela in 1986. In addition to LITTLE TEXAS, Porter occasionally performs with Sherrie Austin and the band Hilljack. When he's not making music, Porter enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, Hayden and Lauren and fishing in the Harpeth River.
